Zero Run International Joint Venture Company was officially established and began selling electric vehicles in nine European countries starting in September this year.

On May 14, Stellantis N.V. (hereinafter referred to as “Stellantis Group”) and Zhejiang Zero Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zero Automobile”) announced that the two companies had passed all the necessary approvals for the establishment of “Leapmotor International B.V.” (hereinafter referred to as “Zero International”), which was formally established by Zero International, led by Stellantis Group, which is 51% and 49% owned by Stellantis Group and Zero Motor, respectively.

According to reports, Zero International is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Mr. Xin Tianshu, from the China management team of Stellantis Group, serves as Zero CEO.

The joint venture management team led by Zero International is currently preparing for the launch of T03 and C10 electric models in Europe.

At the same time, Zero International plans to launch the above models in India and Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), the Middle East and Africa and South America from the fourth quarter of 2024.

In October 2023, the Stellantis Group and Zero announced that the Stellantis Group would invest about 1.

5 billion euros to acquire a 21% stake in Zero.

The above deal also confirms that the Stellantis Group and Zero Motor will form a “Zero International” joint venture.

The joint venture has the exclusive right to export and sell zero-running cars to all global markets except Greater China, as well as the exclusive right to manufacture zero-running car products locally.

For zero-running cars, this partnership not only aims to further increase the sales of zero-running cars in China, the world’s largest auto market, but also relies on the mature business layout of Stellantis Group in other global markets to greatly increase the sales of zero-running cars in the local market.

In addition, Zero International’s electric vehicle products are also considered to complement Stellantis Group’s current technology and its iconic brand product lineup, which will bring more cost-effective travel solutions to customers around the world.

Zero International is equipped with full-time business leaders for the above markets, and plans to expand a total of 200 sales outlets, including Stellantis & You, by the end of this year, and to expand the sales network to 500 by 2026 to ensure that customers can enjoy a high level of quality service.

By the end of 2024, Zero will also launch products in Turkey, Israel and French overseas territories in the Middle East and Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Malaysia in India and the Asia-Pacific region, and Brazil and Chile in South America.
