On August 27, ZF released the RFA, a highway autonomous driving pilot assistance system, marking another important breakthrough in the field of automotive safety and comfort functions.
It is understood that the RFA system adopts a highly flexible system architecture, is highly scalable, and can support multiple system scheme designs based on the needs of different main engine factories, including multiple sensor configurations such as 5R1V, 5R5V, and 5R6V.
, realizes rich integrated transportation and parking functions, and the system is also a high-speed NOA solution with a minimum of less than 1500 yuan.

Specifically, ZF’s RFA is equipped with ADAS-side and cloud real-time interactive systems for the first time.
Through the cloud data interactive system, it can be flexibly compatible with all lightweight and high-precision maps on the market and standard ADASIS V3 protocol remaps, providing rich road and driving information such as lane lines, traffic speed limit information, traffic lights, etc.
Not only that, the RFA system can also use the cloud data system to achieve over-the-horizon sensing.
In conjunction with the real-time sensing system, the vehicle can calmly cope with various driving environment challenges, including intelligent on-off and off-ramps, smooth and safe cornering, intelligent overtaking and lane changes, intelligent lane keeping, flexible response to congestion, and intelligent human-computer interaction.
In recent years, with the rapid development of autonomous driving in China, ZF has been committed to continuously promoting technological research and development and innovation based on the unique needs of the Chinese market and actual road conditions.
As early as 2020, ZF was the first in China to launch a single-vision L2 driver assistance system solution, which was fully verified by the market.
, In response to the high-tech requirements of L4 autonomous driving, ZF has also built full-stack self-research capabilities including sensing, positioning, AI, data, decision-making and control, and officially obtained the group’s first L4 autonomous driving test license at the beginning of this year, becoming the first foreign-funded parts company to obtain Shanghai L4 autonomous driving test license.
