Volvo electric cars connect to Tesla’s super charging network

According to foreign media reports, Volvo Cars is connecting its electric vehicles to Tesla’s Supercharger network in the United States and Canada, including the new EX90 flagship electric SUV.

Starting with the 2025 model, consumers will come with an adapter when purchasing a Volvo EX90 flagship SUV, EX40 or EC40 electric vehicle that will allow them to charge the vehicle at the Tesla Super Charging Station and other North American Charging Standards (NACS) compliant charging stations.

The adapters will begin shipping on November 18, 2024.

Volvo will announce news about the adapter for the EX30 model soon.

Google Assistant in a vehicle’s in-vehicle infotainment system can also help car owners find charging stations and provide navigation directions.
