Vision Power’s Spanish factory starts construction and is expected to be put into operation in 2026

Gashi Automobile learned from Vision Power that on July 8, local time, its battery super factory in Mora de la Mata, Naval-Spain held a groundbreaking ceremony.

According to reports, Vision Power’s Spanish factory will develop and manufacture the latest generation of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery products, which is expected to be put into operation in 2026, when it will become Europe’s first lithium iron phosphate battery super factory.

The factory will also rely on the construction of the first zero-carbon industrial park in continental Europe to create zero-carbon battery products.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that Vision is a global leader in green technology.

It has innovated and created advanced products and technologies in the fields of wind turbines, energy storage, batteries, green hydrogen ammonia, and new power systems, and pioneered the zero-carbon industrial park model.
