On September 24, u-blox, a positioning and wireless communication technology and service provider, announced the launch of a new X20 full-band high-precision GNSS platform, which has significantly improved accuracy, performance and security.
Based on the F9 high-precision GNSS platform, the new generation of products meets the current global demand for high-precision GNSS, and its future-oriented design can also meet emerging technologies and standards.
The new platform is designed for industrial automation, automobiles and other applications that require centimeter-level positioning accuracy in harsh environments, as well as time synchronization applications for critical infrastructure systems.
Because it contains all available GNSS satellite signals, it provides the highest accuracy of positioning even in poor signal environments.
The platform supports the basic L1 and L2 bands, as well as the subsequent addition of the L5 band.
The L5 band operates at a lower frequency than the L1 and L2 bands, and benefits from improved signal characteristics, making the L5 signal itself more stable.
The u-blox X20 also adds support for the L6 band.
This band is used not only for navigation services, but also for correction services that help improve the accuracy of positioning estimation.
