Recently, we learned from MG officials that its new all-electric SUV, the MG ES5, will be launched on October 15.
The new car is built based on SAIC Nebula’s exclusive pure electric architecture.
It is the same platform product as the MG4 EV and will be positioned as a compact SUV.
Judging from the previously exposed application drawings, the exterior of the new car adopts a simple design language.
The front closed front grille is matched with split headlight groups on both sides and the double-section ventilation vents surrounded by the bottom.
The overall shape is relatively sharp.
, On the side of the body, the new car has a standard through-belt design, adopts traditional door handles, and is equipped with a black exterior mirror shell, a silver roof rack and double five-spoke rims, further enhancing the sporty atmosphere of the vehicle.
The rear adopts the currently popular through-type taillights, which are expected to have good visibility after being lit up.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4476*1849*1621mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2730 mm.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 125kW, matching the lithium iron phosphate battery pack provided by SAIC Power Battery Co., Ltd., and a top speed of 170km/h.
