In the Snapshot battery, Ningde era adopted the method of mixing lithium and sodium to solve the above three problems.

The reason is that it is so cold that people need heating, not to mention batteries.

Lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium batteries cannot withstand dozens of degrees below zero because of the “physical” problems of lithium ions.

In this environment, the viscosity of the electrolyte increases, or even partially solidifies, and the electrical conductivity of lithium ion decreases.

Finally, not only the performance of the battery will decline, but also the charge and discharge capacity will decrease very quickly.

In the Ningde era, if people in the northeast wanted to drive electric cars, they naturally needed to solve this problem.

Sodium battery is its best rescue.

The viscosity of sodium ion is lower at low temperature, which can reduce the resistance of electrolyte and the electrical conductivity is higher.

The Ningde era integrated the lithium battery and the sodium battery in the same battery package, and the nano battery is resistant to fabrication at low temperature, and the electrochemistry is more stable, so it will be arranged around the battery pack to go to its more familiar low temperature zone and act as a moat.

Let the more expensive lithium battery in the middle, continue to bear the important task of output performance.

Because sodium batteries are cheap and lithium batteries are expensive, they can be flexibly customized according to their needs and costs, which can be said to kill two birds with one stone.

In fact, this is not the first time that this kind of mash-up has been done.

Before, ternary lithium battery and lithium iron phosphate battery have been used before.

It sounds simple, but in fact, the running-in process of sodium ion and lithium ion needs a lot of experiments and data to support, and the Ningde era has also made a more accurate BMS algorithm.

It’s just that the Ningde era not only uses sodium ion as a low temperature guarantee, but also uses it as a SOC detection yardstick for battery power.

Originally, it was very difficult to know SOC accurately, but now the addition of sodium ion has improved the whole accuracy of system control, and pure electric range can be increased by another 10 kilometers.

You may want to ask: why not use such a good thing earlier? Because lithium ions were previously used in high-end electronic products, “high power, small size” is the advantage they pursue.

Therefore, we all focus on lithium ion, and then in the study of sodium ion, we mistakenly copy the research route of lithium ion, resulting in the advantage of sodium ion has not been brought into full play.

However, it is never too late to have a good meal, and now the theoretical research and the selection of new materials have reached a new level.

Previously, the Kirin battery focused on long battery life, while Shenxing overcharge battery focused on fast charging, this time Snapremote battery absorbed the advantages of the two big brothers, not only achieved the long life in the hybrid car, but also attached a 4C overcharge function.
