According to foreign media reports, Tesla Vice President of Investor Relations Martin Viecha announced his resignation on April 23.
Viecha has been with Tesla for seven years and he is the third Tesla executive to leave in less than two weeks.
Viecha said on social media platform X: “about a month ago, I talked to Elon and [CFO] Vaibhav and announced that I would leave Tesla’s investor relations field.
Working for Tesla for the past seven years has been the greatest honor of my career.
” He pointed out, “in the next few years, I will continue to follow Tesla as a supporter and shareholder.
But now, after seven years of sprint, it’s time to take a break and spend more time with your family.
” Source: Tesla, Ross Gerber, CEO of Gerber Kawasaki Wealth & Investment Management, said do not underestimate the possibility of adverse effects of Martin’s departure.
“I have been working with Martin for a long time and he is the glue between management, shareholders and investors.
” According to Gerber, another senior executive left Tesla, especially at such a delicate time in the company’s history.
“I think it’s worrying that Musk continues to lose experienced executives during this very important transition.
” Prior to this, Tesla Senior Vice President Drew Baglino and Vice President of Public Policy and Business Development Rohan Patel also announced their departure.
Drew Baglino, who has worked at Tesla for 18 years, is responsible for the engineering and technical development of automotive batteries and is well known to investors and analysts.
