Tennecker introduces advanced, highly adjustable displacement response valve series (SDD) add-on valves, expanding its industry-leading portfolio of passive valves for Mono ®mainframe solutions.
The new Mono RideRefine ™SDD valve is combined with Mono mainframe solution master valve technology to provide state-of-the-art comfort and handling.
The displacement response valve system (SDD) significantly improves comfort by reducing the damping level of the piston during the short stroke of the device.
The by-pass hole introduces hydraulic oil into the Mono RideRefine SDD valve to provide separate, adjustable small stroke damping control to reduce noise, vibration and sound-vibration roughness.
At the end of the short piston stroke, the main valve of the shock absorber immediately returns to normal operation.
The tunability of the new SDD valve makes it easy for automakers to cope with subtle vibrations and maintain driving comfort.
Romain Nollet, Vice President and General Manager of Mono Ride Solutions, said: “RideRefine SDD valves take the versatility, adjustability and comfort of passive shock absorbers to a whole new level.
The displacement response Valve system (SDD) helps ensure that shock absorbers effectively filter out slight road bumps on highways and other smooth roads, thereby providing luxury and comfort to the driving experience.
