At 2:30 a.m. on September 6, the third orbital surface of the Geely Future Travel Constellation was successfully launched at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center with 10 satellites per arrow.
The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, the 10 satellites were in normal condition, and the launch mission was a complete success.

It is reported that Geely’s Future Travel Constellation is a low-orbit communication constellation with a scale of 5676 satellites created by Shikong Daoyu, a commercial aerospace enterprise under Geely Technology Group.
Prior to this, there were two orbital surfaces and 20 satellites operating stably in orbit.
Specifically, the Geely Constellation Group 01 and 02 satellites were successfully launched on the Long March 2C carrier rocket in June 2022 and February 2024 respectively.

This is the first time that Chinese commercial aerospace companies have provided low-orbit satellite communication services to global users.
It is understood that the Geely Constellation project was launched in 2019 and is planned to be divided into three phases: the first phase will deploy 72 satellites to achieve global real-time data communication, provide medium and low-speed satellite communication services to global users, and support 200 million + users around the world.
the second phase will plan 264 mobile phones directly connected satellites to support existing mobile phones directly connected satellite communications and provide global commercial services.
the third phase plans 5676 multimedia satellites to provide global commercial low-orbit broadband communication services.
Constellation services cover broadband from medium and low speed to high speed, meeting the needs of mass consumption and applications in various industries.

Now, after three satellite launches in 2022 and 2024, half of the first phase of satellite on-orbit deployment has been completed.
Global commercial services will be achieved by the end of this year.
It is expected to complete the first phase of construction by the end of 2025, achieving global seamless coverage.
, In addition, Geely’s future travel constellation has also achieved global commercial application services, becoming the first Chinese commercial low-orbit satellite constellation to achieve satellite communication applications overseas.
In October last year, SpaceTime Daoyu signed a contract with Malaysian telecom operator Altel to carry out technology research and development and system application cooperation to develop solutions such as smart ports and smart agriculture.
In June this year, Time and Space completed the first overseas communications commercial deployment test of the future travel constellation in Oman, a Middle Eastern country, and reached a strategic cooperation with Oman satellite communications company Azyan Telecom to jointly promote the commercial services of this constellation in the Middle East and Africa.
