According to foreign media reports, Japanese automaker Suzuki has finally released its first pure electric vehicle.
On November 4, Suzuki released the e Vitara in Europe.
This pure electric SUV will be available globally and will also join Toyota’s product lineup in the future.
Toyota and Suzuki are working together to address electrification trends in the automotive industry.
Last month, the two companies expanded their partnership and announced a plan for Suzuki to provide Toyota with a new global electric SUV.

Its size is roughly equivalent to the Kia new EV3 (the EV3 has a length of 4,300 mm, a width of 1,850 mm, a height of 1,560 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,680 mm).
, Suzuki has not disclosed the range of the e Vitara, but the electric SUV will offer 49 kilowatt hours and 61 kilowatt hours battery options.
Suzuki said in January last year that the concept car could have a cruising range of 342 miles (about 550 kilometers).
Suzuki will begin production of the new electric SUV at its Gujarat plant in India in spring 2025 and will also supply vehicles to Toyota.
Sales of the new car are expected to begin in Europe, India and Japan in the summer of 2025.
