On April 4, StoreDot, a developer of ultra-fast charging (XFC) battery technology for electric vehicles, announced that it was the first company in the world to use silicon-based batteries to achieve more than 2,000 consecutive XFC cycles, in which silicon-based batteries can maintain more than 80% of their initial capacity.
This means that electric car drivers can quickly charge their cars in just a few minutes a day without worrying about the health of their batteries.
