According to foreign media reports, the research team of the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in South Korea has made a major breakthrough in developing an environmentally friendly dry electrode manufacturing process for lithium-ion batteries (LIB).
This new process eliminates the need for harmful solvents and improves battery performance while promoting sustainable development.
The research results have been published in the July 2024 issue of Chemical Engineering Journal.
