On September 19, Minister Wang Wentao and Executive Vice Chairman and Trade Commissioner Dombrovskis of the European Commission held comprehensive, in-depth and constructive talks.
The two sides clearly expressed their political will to resolve differences through consultations and unanimously agreed to start price commitment consultations to avoid escalating trade frictions.
In the short 14 days since then, the China-EU technical teams have held six rounds of technical consultations.
China has repeatedly and fully listened to the demands and opinions of the China-EU industry.
During the consultation, it has demonstrated an open and cooperative attitude and demonstrated maximum flexibility.
