Israel’s NVIDIA Research Center launches new computing method to plan and control the movement of humanoid robots in a 3D environment

Gashi Automobile News Humanoid robots, that is, robots or virtual systems with a body structure similar to a human body, have widespread applications in the real world.

Their limbs and bodies are similar to humans, so they can simulate various human movements such as walking, squatting, jumping and swimming.

However, the environments depicted in video games and animations tend to be highly dynamic and complex, making it more challenging to introduce planning actions for humanoid robots in these environments.

, According to foreign media reports, researchers at Israel’s NVIDIA Research recently launched a new computing method, PlaMo (Plan and Move), which can be used to plan how humanoid robots move in a complex 3D physical simulation world.

This approach, which is described in a paper published on the arXiv preprint server, consists of a scene-aware path planner and a robust control strategy.
