Plastics are made of a large number of molecules (called polymers) that are not readily biodegradable, and the scope of harm caused is expanding year by year.
However, biodegradable plastics currently account for less than one-fifth of total plastic production, and the decomposition process is relatively cumbersome.
According to foreign media reports, researchers at the Department of Molecular Chemistry and Materials Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel have developed a new type of composite plastic that can be easily degraded by bacteria.

, Currently, many industries are actively adopting composite plastics.
This plastic is a combination of two or more pure materials and has multiple properties such as light weight and strength.
It can now be used to make key components in a variety of industrial products, such as aircraft, cars, to bicycles.
