[TechWeb] News on December 5, in the fourth quarter 2023 financial report released on January 24 this year, Tesla mentioned that the year-on-year growth rate of their electric vehicle production and delivery this year may be significantly lower than that in 2023.
However, foreign media mentioned in reports that Tesla CEO Musk still believes that their global deliveries this year may exceed the record in 2023.
Judging from the quarterly production and deliveries released by Tesla, they delivered 386,810, 443,956 and 462,890 electric vehicles in the first three quarters of this year respectively, with a total of 1,293,656 vehicles delivered in the three quarters.
During the whole of last year, Tesla delivered a total of 1,808,581 electric vehicles worldwide.
If this year’s deliveries want to exceed the whole of last year, the delivery volume in the fourth quarter will exceed 514,925 vehicles.
In terms of Tesla’s announced production and deliveries, the fourth quarter is usually the quarter with their highest production and delivery in each year.
This has been the case since 2017, and this year is expected to be no exception.
, In the fourth quarter of last year, Tesla’s delivery of 484,507 vehicles increased by nearly 80,000 compared with the previous year’s 405,278 vehicles.
The delivery volume in the fourth quarter of 2022 increased by nearly 100,000 vehicles compared with the fourth quarter of the previous year.
If the growth rate in the fourth quarter of this year is maintained at the same period last year, it will exceed 515,000 vehicles, and the delivery volume for the whole year will also exceed last year.
