According to foreign media reports, Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. will recall 54,647 vehicles in the United States due to fuel pump failures, which may cause power loss.
In addition, the company will recall 7,579 vehicles in Canada for the same reason.
, The models recalled by Hyundai include the 2019 to 2023 Zenith G70, the 2019 to 2022 Veloster N, the 2022 to 2023 Elantra N and the 2022 to 2023 Kona N models.
As of now, Hyundai has not received any reports of casualties related to this issue.
, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the plungers of fuel control valves on these vehicles could experience premature wear, causing fuel to leak into the fuel pump.
If the air-fuel ratio becomes too large, the vehicle may lose driving power when driving at low speeds, increasing the risk of a collision.

“, In addition, Hyundai will recall 12,349 2024 Santa Fe vehicles in the United States.
