According to foreign media reports, researchers at the Graz University of Technology have identified additional parameters to reliably assess the condition of used electric vehicle batteries for subsequent use as fixed power storage.
Currently, this type of assessment is based on only two criteria.

However, this is “not enough” to determine potential second-life uses.
So, the researchers analyzed lithium-ion batteries used in vehicles under real-life conditions, as well as equivalent new samples in the laboratory.
