When people navigate through Google Maps, they may quickly find a way to their destination.
But Google software can sometimes show limitations, and even minor errors on the map can turn a simple journey into a nightmare.
According to foreign media reports, General Motors believes that the only way to achieve accurate navigation during off-road is to use drones and has applied for a system patent for this purpose.
The system allows drones to park and disengage from vehicles and is specifically used to scan the road ahead.

After the driver activates AI Scout Drone mode, vehicles traveling on off-road routes will deploy drones and begin scanning the road ahead and looking for a way to reach their destination.
However, the most important thing is how it determines the best route.
, GM said drones can determine basic off-road route conditions, including slope, approach and departure angles, size, type and difficulty level of rocks and other obstacles, as well as soil conditions (such as whether rocks, gravel, soil and sand are dry or wet) and possible vehicle paths.
This will be particularly useful during off-road adventures when more vehicles are trying to navigate rough terrain.
