The energy transformation in Germany, Europe and even the world has driven strong demand for solar panels.
In addition to high energy output, aesthetics and acceptance are becoming increasingly important.
According to foreign media reports, in order to adapt to these trends, researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE (Fraunhofer ISE) have developed innovative solar exterior wall elements that can be almost stealthily integrated into the exterior of buildings without significantly reducing efficiency.

With this groundbreaking project, these researchers will receive the 2024 Joseph von Fraunhofer Prize.
, Photovoltaic systems are not a favorite design element for architects and building owners.
Fraunhofer ISE researchers Dr.
Oliver Höhn, Dr.
Thomas Kroyer and Andreas Wessels set out to change this and develop aesthetically colored solar panels.
These solar panels have the characteristics of stable angles and minimal loss of color saturation efficiency, so they can be almost stealthily integrated into the exterior walls of buildings.
