According to foreign media reports, Ford said on April 16 that it had resumed shipments to dealers more than nine weeks after delivery of the 2024 Fmur150 Lightning electric pickup truck was stopped due to quality problems.
In January this year, the Ford 2024 Fmur150 Lightning went on sale.
Ford issued a suspension order for the top-selling electric pickup, the Fmur150 Lightning, on Feb.
9, but production continues at the company’s plant in Dearborn, Michigan.
Ford’s Detroit-area parking lot has also been stranded with gasoline and hybrid versions of the 2024 Fmur150 in recent months, but Ford said delivery of the trucks began in the week of Feb. 19. Source: Ford, Ford did not disclose details of the quality problems that caused delivery delays.
Earlier, Ford cut 2/3 jobs at the plant responsible for producing the Fmuri 150 Lightning and halved production plans for the electric pickup.
Last week, Ford cut the price of some of its 2024 Fmure 150 Lightning by 7.

Quality problems do not seem to have affected Fmuri 150 Lightning sales in the first quarter.
