According to Reuters, on June 28, electric vehicle manufacturer Fisker said it would recall more than 12,000 Ocean cars to solve the problem that the vehicle’s external door handles may be stuck and cannot be opened.
It is reported that this is the third time the company recalled cars in June.

“In an emergency, doors that cannot be opened can prevent passengers from leaving and increase the likelihood of injury,” the regulator said.
According to NHTSA, Fisker will replace the problematic door handle for free.
Many consumers have complained on social media platforms that car keys sometimes cannot open the vehicle, or car doors cannot be opened.
Fisker has asked its dealers in the U.S., Canada and Europe to stop selling Ocean models and inspect the issue.
The company said in a statement that it will recall 8,204 Ocean models in the United States, 513 in Canada and 3,806 in Europe, bringing the total to 12,523.
Earlier in June, Fisker also recalled more than 18,000 vehicles in North America and Europe due to vehicle software failures and non-compliance with safety standards.
Fisker also filed for bankruptcy protection on June 17 and plans to sell assets and restructure debt.
, Fisker was founded by well-known car designer Henrik Fisker and was an ambitious electric vehicle startup.
But since its inception, the company has failed to achieve profitability.
Fisker burned a lot of money to increase production and deliver Ocean models.
Although the company achieved revenue of approximately $273 million in 2023, its net loss was still as high as $940 million.
