Kuaidi Technology reported on November 4th that Gekrypton cars explained its model’s hidden double B-pillar design in the latest issue of Gekrypton MIX.
, Extreme Krypton said that although the MIX model adopts a B-pillar design, the car’s doors are embedded with ultra-high-strength steel pipe columns with a diameter of about 70mm and a wall thickness of more than 3.5 mm. This wall thickness ranks first in the entire industry.
.
In addition, the B column uses four ultra-high strength steel pieces of 2000 MPa, making it the world’s first.
The steel is processed through aerospace grade hot gas expansion integrated forming technology to ensure seamless structural integrity.
, Therefore, this unique structural and material design allows MIX’s single steel column to withstand weights of up to 20 tons, providing safety performance beyond traditional B-pillars.
