Recently, Cadillac released a convertible concept car.
The new car is named Sollei.
It is built based on the Ultium platform and uses a 2+2 seat layout and a pure electric drive system.
Officials said that Sollei’s design is inspired by “sun” and “light” and uses a similar cockpit and front face design to Celestiq.
, On the exterior, the front face is the iconic design of the Cadillac tram family, the large size imitation grille is domineering, and the exaggerated air intake decoration on both sides is full of sporty atmosphere.
The side of the car body is relatively simple, abandoning the traditional door handle and using ultra-thin buttons embedded in aluminum rings to fully stretch the visual effect.
However, the safety is questionable, and I wonder if there is any targeted consideration.
In the interior section, the seats are perforated, stitched and embroidered with a coronal pattern, and pink iridescent pigment is added to Nappa leather to create a color-changing effect.
The inner and outer metal parts are painted with a new paint called “Aurora”, inspired by the aurora, giving people a high-level and fresh feeling overall.
, Although Cadillac emphasized that Sollei was just a concept, John Roth, Cadillac’s global vice president, said Sollei provided creative people within the brand with the opportunity to express themselves and demonstrated what a 2+2 convertible could take.
