In March this year, the “Action Plan to Promote Large-scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade in Old Goods” was issued, launching the work of equipment renewal and consumer goods trade in old goods.
Subsequently, on July 24, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance issued the “Several Measures to Strengthen Support Large-scale Equipment Renewal and the Exchange of Old Consumer Goods for New Products.
” Recently, the Beijing City Development and Reform Commission, together with the Beijing City Finance Bureau and other departments, organized multiple industry associations and dozens of companies to conduct discussions and surveys to understand market demand, and based on the actual situation of the city, studied and formulated the city’s efforts to strengthen support for the “two new” work measures.
Relevant implementation plans are expected to be officially issued and implemented in the near future.
Among them, in terms of scrapping and updating personal passenger cars, the subsidy standards in the “2024 Beijing City Automobile Swap Subsidies for Old Cars” have been adjusted: for scrapping old cars that meet the standards and purchasing new energy passenger cars, the original subsidy will be increased from 10,000 yuan to 20,000 yuan.
